Starting my career as Aldona Dworakowska

1992 Diploma at St. Petersburg State University “Journalism as Fourth Estate“ (just 2 years after the Fall of Berlin Wall). Direct jump into western work organisation as Junior Shift Manager at McDonalds and after that, at its first restaurant in Poland.

Makro Poland - Checkout Manager

Leading a cashier team of ca.120 people, being part of the store management team. Responsible for customer service, people engagement and cash flow documentation. Unique store operations experience.

Makro Poland - Senior store operations expert

Working in store, I dreamt about this role and it was at this time that I could fully “walk my talk“. I was happy to work together with store managers and service managers in more than 40 stores in Poland. Also I learned great lessons on how to collaborate in a matrix organisation.

An international trainer in the global Learning and Development Department of Metro AG. System and process training, soft skills, managerial skills, train-the-trainer – an amazing journey in an international environment. Preparing and organising learning events, developing learning concepts.

Starting my own business to help managers and organisation to face the Change Process, to go through and to get the best outcome out of it. My approach combines different Change Management sciences, such as PROSCI, 8 steps of Kotter, The Influence Model or U theory.
